For your sake, I like to keep the announcements and housekeeping short.
So here it is.
The name of the publication is changing to Write & Lift
For the past year, this blog has been called That’s A Good Idea.
When I chose that name, I didn’t think much about it. It sounded good at the time and I ran with it. But it’s time for a change.
I’m excited to share that this edition — and all editions after — will be rebranded as Write & Lift, a name that I’ve used to represent my personal brand for the last six months.
The primary reason for this change, is that That’s A Good Idea does not capture the thesis and overall message I am seeking to convey in my writing.
It’s not enough, in my eyes, to simply curate or discuss “good ideas”. I want to explore the connections between the mind and the body; the embodied world and the abstract world of thought, and to seek the inner mastery nestled between the two.
This exploration has become a primary component of my life.
This goes beyond exercising, reading, and maintaining a routine with my work; it’s a desire to integrate the self — to be someone that understands and embodies the synergy between the mind and body. To be someone that can channel the dynamism of existence into creation and movement through space.
I will continue to have 75% of the content entirely free to read.
I will however be putting some of my work behind a $5 a month paywall.
Those who decide to contribute with a subscription in the first month of the blogs rebranding will automatically have access to other features I plan to rollout later this year.
Some ideas I am thinking of:
Weekly group call and discussion group
Additional articles
Book club community
If there are any features, you’d like to see, please let me know in the comments below.
Thanks for being here. Thanks for exploring this world with me.
And as always, thanks for reading.

Joe,
Just a heads up for you. There is already a well known podcaster/content provider known as the Warrior Poet. Check out YouTube. You may want to reconsider...
Just sayin...
