I hope for California's sake and the sake of the country that you're right. I'd love to eventually live in Cali one day, but it's gotta see some serious shifts before I'd break the bank to do so. As always, good stuff, Joe 👍

Thought about moving out of CA for a long time, but ultimately couldn't bring myself to it. This is the best place in the world, and to yield it to those who would destroy it would be treachery. Time to hold fast. Besides, going carpetbagging in Idaho or Texas is nothing to brag about.

*but I cannot! Geographically, it has got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. It’s been taken to the brink of spiritual death, but there is hope. Always hope! ❤️

Good article overall, but the Tech Oligarchs ARE the anti-human policies. They can weather the storm of degeneracy and crime; they run the business models of you owning nothing and being happy. They don’t care about art, culture, or aesthetics. I’d take industrial robber barons over tech oligarchs any day. At least they built beautiful civic buildings and museums. Tech oligarchs just waste money recreating the accomplishments of NASA from the 80s and 90s or building expensive charter schools they just shut down 5 years later. Wasted potential.
